Loopy's latest photo shoot was inspired by the new campaign for Vera Wang's Princess perfume. The new face of the fragrance isn't Loopy... it's Zoe Kravitz, daughter of Lenny. American Rock Royalty.
The colours were pinks, mauve and pale green. The key would be finding the right frock and making an outrageous tiara like Zoe wears.
Headband from Dollarama? Check. Fake sparkly butterflies from Michaels? Check? Beads from Dollarama and the floor of the craft room? Check, check.
Next: pop it onto Loopy's head to see if it fits. Not entirely satisfied with the colours of the butterflies? Change them later in PhotoShop.
Like so. The mauve taffeta dress was seven dollars at the Salvation Army thrift store. Strangely enough it fit perfectly - even in length. It might show up again in some other form.
Juicy Couture necklaces mixed with pieces from Forever 21, and Dollarama. That giant dragonfly is a Christmas tree ornament.
That belt has been around forever. It might be from Anthropologie. Perhaps.
Set fluff and backdrop provided by two crazy vintage prom gowns that Saucy found at a tag sale a few years ago. Nobody could ever wear them - they are less than a size zero to be sure. But their volume and colours make good set dressing.
So? What do you think?
The photo shoots are just fun, fun, fun. Plus, it gives Saucy a chance to play with her camera and with PhotoShop.
It gives Loopy a chance to play dress up, when she's technically too old for games like that. On second thought... nobody's too old for dress up.
Plus, it makes a cute blog post. Who can resist that face? Not even Vera Wang herself.
