that new baby smell

So sweet and so soft...

Saucy jumped at the chance to photograph a friend's new baby this week. Some fresh towels, some natural sunlight through the window and a brand spankin' new baby boy made for some sweet photos.

Taking baby pictures is easy but of course, there are a few tricks. Saucy arrived at her friend's house with cool baskets and blankets but this little guy would have none of it. At just two weeks old, he was so strong he wriggled out of his concocted scenery and eventually he did his first modeling gig on simple white towels.

Well, that's the thing about working with kids and dogs. Make a plan and don't expect to be able to stick to it.

He's almost lifting his head right up and over. It was amazing to see. Difficult to photograph, amazing to see.

A few closeups are always a good idea. Parents will always want to remember these soft, sweet parts.

Eventually Derek Zoolander got hungry, had some lunch, got drunk on milk, and konked out. By that time, the light wasn't the best and we were done for the day. That's okay... Aunt Saucy's coming around again soon, armed with her baskets and blankets.

The End.
