Saucy just might be breaking the rules... what else is new... but she is about to post images of the swap packages that she made for her group partners Nerina, Cathy and Lynn. Ladies, if you want to be surprised when your parcel arrives, avert your eyes.
The swap was hosted by Heather at Speckled Egg. Each swapper was asked to fill a decorated matchbox with crafty, vintage items with the inspired theme of nesting. How it all worked out, Saucy wonders, that her swap goods and the packaging are rife with the colour palate of robin's egg blue, red and moss green? She was simply drawn to these things as she gathered, and when it was time to assemble... there it was.
Here are Saucy's finished decorated matchboxes... even the brand fit the theme of the swap. Thank you, Canadian Tire.
But alas, Canadian Tire doesn't sell many things glittery, and so Saucy had to apply the red bird's sparkles herself before packaging up the goods.
By the way... does anyone need 750 loose matches without a box for striking?
Inside... Saucy won't ruin the entire show. There are goodies piled deep within.
She will show you this much: she created a special limited-edition (only three in the world) nesting theme charm bracelet for each of her swap partners.
Saucy worked in the craft room today and it felt good. Good to be organized, good to listen to music while she worked, and good to be in proximity to the laundry room to keep an eye on that business while she got the swap together.
She will be deep into the craft room over the next few days as the weather is supposed to take a late spring turn for the worst. What will keep you indoors over the next while, Dear Reader?
