I'm buried alive under a pile of conversation hearts and glitter. I lacquered another 100 hearts yesterday and left them to dry on a tray... and Duke ate them. Can you believe it? They don't even smell like candy when the lacquer is dry and they have been sealed with glitter, I don't know what he was thinking. He owes me an apology, don't you think?
In the meantime, if you would like to win one of my cute conversation heart charm bracelets, drop me a comment. You need to make a link to me on your blog or Facebook profile for this one! Are we Facebook friends yet?
One comment/entry per person, with link. Draw will be made Friday at Midnight CST.

I totally do not blame the dog for this one...after all...He is conditioned to think his treats come in the form of cute things like cupcakes...

When we first got our dog she ate an entire hen bones and all. Boy, was she in trouble! But they were so cute when they look up at you with those eyes that you have to forgive them, right?
Going to add a link on my FB page! All my friends are going to LOVE your braclet :)
I just found your blog and can only assume that Duke is your dog :) I'd love to enter for your drawing too!

hehe that sounds like something my son would do, he's 2 1/2 and still taste tests everything in site, maybe he and your dog are related?
Your bracelet is just adorable and I'd love to wear it, would be a hit with the kindergarten kids I volunteer with.

Duke!!! Saucy, make the boy some little cakes. I'll bet he saw some cupcakes with conversation hearts on them and decided that they must be close.
This bracelet is so cute!
At least the bracelet wasn't made out of chocolate hearts - then Duke would really be in trouble. Great giveaway!
I have a dog that would totally have eaten laquered candy hearts. He once ate almond bread wrapper and all. On my blog! I would so love a saucy original!

What brand of candies do you purchase to do this? The only ones I found were awful looking. The printing was all over the place or unreadable. My luck will be they don't have that brand in the USA.
That dog will eat anything!
I use the classic Necco brand that you can find at Wal Mart. The only thing is, you have to sift through them in order to find the good ones. About 50% of them are unusable... but still edible ;)
cutest thing Ive evern paid eyes on...Im going to friend request you right now:)
This has got to be the most adorable bracelet i've ever seen!!!
Very cute. I have a niece I know would agree.
Shame on Duke! Those are too cute to eat--only for wearing!
Oh Duke...nooooo. How's the digestion bud? This is an all time low man. Laquered conversation hearts? Really?
ahhh so darn cute! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas!
i can see why he ate it!!! it is DIVINeLY DELICIOUS eye-candy!!!
heh. That's pretty funny. I mean, really annoying too. haha I just bought some hearts with the hopes of making my own bracelet or necklace, but I'm not sure if I will have the stamina!
Question - how dies the sugar not go bad / rot or something?
I'm gonna put you on my blog!
I was married on Valentine's Day so I think I should win! Love the bracelet...so cute!
Adorable!! Thanks!

I love the Yurman Inspired Red and Pave CZ Cluster Necklace and Chain Ruby Red. I'm going through a phase of loving big, flashy jewels, because of "The Tudors" TV series. This would fit in perfectly with my collection.
yummy they do look good enough to eat.
Lisa
He's such a CHARMING dog! And of course I would love it if one of the bracelets could "be mine"! :)

...so cute, along with your blog! I found your blog through a good friend's blog...I have Jenn to thank! With 2 little girls, and living far away from home in Ottawa, I love to spend my free minutes of the day online, catching up with good friends from back home and seeing what they are up too.
...now, to just find a minute before the girls get up from their naps, to get you linked!
Love the bracelet - my fingers are crossed... :0)
