something blue

It seems like most of the things I'm working on lately, I can't show you. They are mostly surprises for Christmas gifts and such. On the weekend, I did make 48 red velvet and aqua cupcakes for a wedding, I can show you those:

I have had so many requests for more Jonas bracelets, so there are more in my Etsy shop. I like this one, because it has the Pepsi theme going on... aren't the tiny Pepsi cans too too cute?

Loopy and I are off to Calgary for a quick overnight trip to see the orthodontist. We're flying, which is just fine by us. We like a road trip and all, but in this weather?

Reader, are you ready for the holidays? I'm sure not. There's still no tree up at our house. I've never left it this late, ever. I actually thought I'd have a little cry about it last night, but it's so not worth it. If worst comes to worse, I swear, I will take the china out of the cabinet, arrange the gifts inside, and decorate it all to look like Santa's workshop with a crazy list and maybe a Santa hat hanging from the open door.

Saucy, honestly I don't know how you do everything that you do and so beautifully. You know the holidays are so much about family and yours is wonderful, beautiful and supportive. Have a lovely holiday, whatever you end up doing will be creativie and loving. Thanks for the pleasure of your company on this wonderul blog.

you make me laugh, even your idea about decorating the china cabinet is so creative....if you did that, it would be OH SO MUCH COOLER than a tree!!

We've been in a decorating frenzy here, I have 5 trees that I put up every year (Mr. Limefreckle and Limefreckle Jr. insist that they all go up, EVERY year) and I run around like a maniac trying to do it all.....a good cry is definitely what is needed sometimes...that and Pino Grigo....

I just finished baking 80 cupcakes last night....now to make a double batch of butter cream icing... and divide up the fondant for the bears and then head to Walmart in search of a replacement for the round Coke bottles they are all out. (the teacher left it to Friday to tell the kids we would need them for Thursday!after I told her they were limited editions)

AND Christmas shopping still not done!!! or started for that matter... I do have next week off ;o)

I'm not quite ready for Christmas, my kids are done but everybody else still needs shopping. I'm so hitting up Etsy to see if there is any Jonas bracelets left. I've got a little girl that loves Pepsi and Jonas. :)

Wow gorgeous cupcake and bracelet I love it. Your China cabinet idea sounds awesome. I think that should definitely be done if you have the time.

If you have to put the tree up on Christmas eve, I sure it will still be fine! Sounds like you have been extremely busy!!!
we are in the minus forties in edmonton, don't know about you but that's cold enough for me!!!!
I think Calgary is a tad warmer!
I hope you get some "me" time in all this hustle and rush before the holidays.
Hugs,
Margaret B

Pretty cupcakes. Our house is decorated, the cards are mailed, and D and I are going shopping TONIGHT. We're taking it slow and easy this year.

I think you do so much already! Where do you find the time? i think your idea is actually kind of cool and original.

Since I'm not decorating at all this year(due to not having a home)the pressure is off...I'm kind of enjoying it :)
