gimme gimme

Before I show you my crazy Christmukkah wish list, I want to let you know who won the kit of charms to make their very own Saucy Christmas charm bracelet:

How did Angela win? I simply grabbed one of the Cheerios (I decided a consensus would take far too long and I had no time to write names on paper) and asked her to give me a number between 1 and 77.  "Oh!" she replied, "twenty! My big sister turned twenty today!"

And that was that. I came home and found that Angela was indeed number twenty. It must be her lucky day. For that, she can thank my random Cheerio who was all hyped up on party cake tonight.

Now that I've given something away out of the goodness of my heart, can I be a greedy girl and show you what I want for Christmas? Say, if caution was to be thrown completely to the wind, and money was no object, which of course, it is. So this really is a wish list.

But as Loopy pointed out when I found her on the Betsy Johnson website with $7845.00 in her shopping cart, "it doesn't cost anything to cyber-window shop, you know."

Well then, my first window stop will be a good one. I don't mess around. I have wanted a trinity ring forever and a day. I think it would be smooth and comfortable, something I could wear every day. Plus, I think the sizing is forgiving and would be a clever solution for my arthritic fingers, their size fluctuates almost daily, making wearing my rings a real chore sometimes.
If I were to be completely realistic, I'd be happy with a little cup that had a lid to keep fancy tea hot. Oh, and I'd need some of that fancy tea too, for the cup.
I would dearly luurve some black cupcake papers. Dearly. I'm betting that I'll just order them on the internet someday.
I have a very poor little alarm clock and I'd really like a docking station for my iPhone and iPod, right on my bedside table. Imagine how handy that would be!
It never feels like Christmas until I ask for some flavoured vodka. You know me. Now, doesn't it feel more festive around here already?

A nice zoom lens would be a good idea. Or a good portrait lens, I'm not sure what exactly I would get more use out of. If you could have just one new lens for your camera, what would it be?

I would have so much fun with a Polaroid camera. The film packs are discontinued now, aren't they? I suppose this is a silly idea. Maybe I'll find one at a garage sale next summer.

*mental note: go to garage sales next summer*

Oh, but one of these replica Diana cameras from Urban Outfitters would be too much fun!
Loopy and I got Veto hooked on Glee now, isn't that great? You can buy Glee shirts at Cafe Press. Actually, you can find some pretty fantastic gift ideas on that website. I did some shopping there already.
Now that I'm coaching my own Cheerios, I think I need this tee shirt, don't you?

Oh, this sandwich cookie cake pan from Williams-Sonoma makes my heart go pitter-patter. I suppose, just because, I should treat myself to this and pop it into my shopping cart while I'm in Chicago over the weekend.
But then, I wouldn't be able to decide between that or the chocolate bar brownie pan.

More than one reader sent me the link to this cupcake car. Veto says no! Imagine my surprise, it's valued at a mere $25,000.00.  You can have it customized, right down to the icing colour and the toppings on your hat.

I did mention, this is a wish list, right? I'm not really serious.

But maybe just a little, if I had to pick a new ride. This would be it, for sure. Hello, Kitty!

Or, I could just stay home, cuddled on the couch with a soft and small electric blanket. I really don't want a Snuggie... I want this Sunbeam blanket, badly. Please, don't anyone get me a Snuggie.

How about a nice dark winter handbag? Mine is looking a little tired. Veto splurged in Vegas and brought be back a snazzy pink purse in October, but it's too summery for right now. It will have to wait until spring. You know how that goes. If my heart desires a dark winter purse, it surely must desire...

... matching boo-tays. Don'tcha think?

Tell me, I asked what your true holiday wish was a couple of posts back. Now, I want to know, what are the goods? What do you want wrapped up, under the tree? Your wildest wish come true. Let's window shop together.

I want some nice sautee pans. And a nice pillow for my neck. I also need a new purse and some perfume. I could go on and on. One of my wishes will be under the tree (digital frame)- dh has a hard time hiding things from me. :)

Yipppeee!!! I won!? Oh, how fun! : O
I will be so delighted to have something made by you! Thank you, very much!

As far as wishes, I think that I have lost myself over the past few years giving too much to others, that I am not at all sure what I would like to have. I see things that I think are nice, but try hard not to get my hopes up ... but given the time I am sure that I could create a list that would easily rival yours!

Love,
Angela

Ps: Let me know if you need my addy!

We are related I'm sure of it now! I have been obsessed with the trinity ring forever! It's a "if we win the lottery" kind of thing, but I do love it! I have the iHome and LOVE it! I want an iPod Touch or an iPhone, not sure which. Oh, and Tiffany has a little charm that looks just like their boxes which I totally love - yep, that's on my list too. My "if we win the lottery" list! I do know one thing under our tree - Evan was helping hubby open a box from FedEx and he yelled out "Mommy, come see this cupcake!" Pretty sure it's one of the Juicy charms, since I also open the AMEX statement ;-)

can you believe that I thought the Snuggie was a JOKE? When I saw it advertised on TV it was late one night and I thought it was a fakey-commercial like SNL produces.

Can you imagine my upchuck reflex when I actually saw them for sale at Target? OMG.

Please - I'm with you - NO snuggies!

great list too.

if money was no object I would move our house in Toronto to Vancouver. Or maybe recreate it on a lot in our neighbourhood in Vancouver. So glad we are going to Toronto to spend Christmas at the house.

Ohh and maybe a personal trainer to get me out walking more often and get me to a regular exercise class

I love your bike wish but I want one that is pale aqua with flower decals.

Believe it or not, an electric string trimmer. You know, a Weedeater.

C.S. refuses to even consider this as a Christmas gift because it's "not personal enough." In the long run, I think that's a good thing.

Heehee, I also did an entire post on this a few weeks ago! I didn't include my big-won't-get-it-for-a-long-time-wish, which is a new to us house. Oh, and a cleaning fairy for the current one.

Realistically, I'd love to get my hands on an out of print Sara Barielles CD, a 3 tiered wire stand from Stonewall Kitchen and some spa gift certificates.

Sasha, the cupcake car just put me over the edge in a fit of laughter. You simply must not get that till you are old and in an Arizona trailer park. then those are your wheels gorgeous!!!!!I think you would be the belle of the ball. LOL!

My vote is that you splurge for both cake pans, and Jim just got the ipod alarm clock. It ROCKS! It has 2 alarms, one for me and him and he can set the song for me to wake up to. I love what he surprises me with. you need that!

I heart your blog.

If money were no object, I'd love a brick house with a large fireplace and a huge kitchen. Since money IS an object, I'd really love some silver picture frames. My girls' pictures just pop with those and I can never find the right ones. Oh, and some of your cupcakes. :)

Well, I have my eye on a global chair at Urban Barn. I told dh about it and he actually, said let's go look!! He NEVER says that, of course, it is way out of my budget but I can see me now, curled up in it, reading a book with a cup of cocoa on a snowy day, big fat flakes, drifting down!! It's kinda like cyber shopping!! My other big wish is the Kindle reader, they are available in Canada now!! I would lurve me one of those!

Girlfriend, make your own flavored vodka! Just pour vodka over a bag of frozen or fresh fruit of your liking, and let it sit for a week. Magic! I recommend mango.

What a cool list. Love the coolio cuppiecake car. Too bad Mr. V nixed it. Bummer indeed. That Hello Kitty bike is awesome. I surely would like that. BTW, have you been to the Polaroid site lately? Look under POGO cuz they are coming out with a little camera. Looks like the photos are a little smaller than they used to be (like credit card size), but that could be lots of fun. I think it is similar to the Fuji Instax.

Well, I got the boots, the handbag, the vodka and the brownie pan.

I went out after Christmas and found the heated blanket at Wal Mart but it isn't pink, it's dark green, and I have to admit it looks nicer on my sofa, which is where it will probably stay until at least April.

The zoom lens and the cupcake car? Still dreaming...
