I managed to get a few new things up the Etsy before we left. I was pretty swamped with special orders... not that I am complaining. It is a blessing to be able to turn a dollar in this economy and buy Veto something nice for Christmas. He deserves it. For instance, he's always taking the family to see shows:

He took Loopy, The Fan and I to see Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side last weekend. Easily, hands-down, the best movie I've seen all year... and I'm not ashamed to admit I was a little verklempt during almost the whole show. I suppose it could have been the absence of my mood-altering medications, or perhaps the lingering effects of my H1N1 vaccination, but I think it was the story: it makes you question what it means to be a mother. I suspect it has renewed my determination to help my children be the best that they can be.
I'm guessing that now I've seen it and I will have to read the book, I will be a Michael Oher fan. Go Ravens! At the very least, I think I should try coaching the Cheerios with a southern accent for a practice or two with some no-nonsense analogies. That should do the trick.
Five out of five cupcakes, y'all... now go get 'em. I will be home on Wednesday and ship all Etsy orders on Thursday.

I'm loving your new jewelry -- the vintage vibe is something I have played around with, and really enjoy.
I FINALLY attempted some shrink art using your tutorial -- only 10 months after I commented on the original post and said I was going to do it...but better late than never. I posted some pics on my blog --- I did a "New Moon" theme....it's really fun, and addictive!
Due to your cupcake influence, I am going to try to use your recipe today and make my own for when kari comes over for supper. I want to do them with a little bit of me in them, so I'm calling them "Tim's coffee cupcakes with a little bit of sumthing, sumthing icing" Can you guess what I'll have in them?
I loved The Blind Side, too! Sandra Bullock was great!
I saw this on Thanksgiving and loved it! When it ended the young un looked at me and said, we have to buy this movie!
I want to go see that movie too. It looks wonderful!
