Have you heard about the new Vera Wang scent, Rock Princess? It's available for a limited time only. Loopy was available for a limited time only to do a photo shoot.
The new scent is dark, fruity and musky. We decided that Loopy's grade eight farewell frock fit the bill. We added the gloves, the boots, the tiara, and the wings.
Loopy especially was into wearing the black feathered wings. We were shooting downtown, on the site of a recently torn down building. Near the end of the shoot we were approached by... how shall I put this... an unsavory character... who was under the influence. Loopy's reaction was priceless.
It was kind of sad when he backed away from her, with his arms up... telling "the Angel of Death" to have a wonderful evening... but it was a little funny, too.
Nobody ever said that models couldn't have a sense of humour.
I scored the little top hat last year after the holidays. Did you know that little top hats are coming back in style? When were they ever in style?
It's nice to have a photo of her with her bass guitar. There's no doubt about it, Loopy was born to rock!
Vera Wang didn't advertise her new scent very much. What do you think, should we just let her use these shots of Loopy?

Amazing, amazing, amazing! The setting, the outfit and the look. This is one of your best photo shoots yet. Vera definately needs to call Loopy.
I like the one with the pink bass too. Definitely they should use those photos. Are these yours or the Plaintiff's?
These shots were taken by The Plaintiff, I let him press the shutter on this one. He has a way nicer camera and a good lens for portraits.
I generally have a good tickle trunk on hand for costumes, school events and Halloween. If I see something cool at a good price, I snag it and it goes in the trunk. You never know what I will pull out for a photo shoot! Usually we have an idea for a photo shoot in our heads for a while and after we check the trunk, we might keep our eyes open for accessories and sometimes we borrow things.
How could Vera Wang not possibly use these photos in her advertisements for Rock Princess perfume? I'd definitely buy it!

Loopy looks so Rock Glam in these photos. I'm sure you had a ton of fun styling these shots.
Miss Loopy...you're amazingly talented! I loved the wedding dress photos and now these, wonderful. It shows how beautifully versatile you are in front of the lens.
I say...absolutely send these to Ms Wang (with a letter).
You never know what can happen....
Take it from me, there was a time in my life I took the same chance and ended up as a regular on my favorite dance show.
That was only the beginning of the dream come true.

This shoot was in the spot of the former Folk's Finer Furs store on the corner of 20th Street and 2nd Avenue. They tore down the building earlier this year and painted the wall of the adjacent building black. You will notice the partial brick wall that didn't get torn down... it must have been the safe!
