This weekend Loopy and I created the prototype for a cupcake inspired by her favourite flavour of ice cream: Laura Secord Superkid.

It was really very simple, she had them in the oven less than an hour after school let out on Friday.  We like being in the kitchen with Taylor Swift singing to us, sharing a batter-drippy beater.

I remember finding bread like this at the bakery on April Fool's day when I was a kid.  Some things just stay cool.

We double dog dare you not to try this yourself.

Those look awesome! Neat idea.

Very COOOOOOL! I like it but then again what don't you create that we don't all like. lol Question for you, how did you get the sprinkles to go on in perfect thirds? Did you hold something above it or just sprinkle with your fingers from the touch of a trained hand?

Wow...another great cupcake. You girls really need to write a cupcake book.

Well, I had to share this post with our 21 year old daughter. We had a good laugh. I remember the first time she had superman ice cream. . . when it came "out" she came running to me (she was about 4 years old) - "Mommy, mommy, I'm sick my poop is green!!"

Memories...

Blessings,

Sher

Well, MJ DID say where she got the cupcake recipe, but I forgot all about it until I came over following her directions for something else and surprise, here those wonderful cupcakes.

I love your humor. This a great blog.

MJ said your Loopy has Asperger's. My girl does as well.

Looks like the two of you have fun together.

Nice to "meet" you,
Annemarie

I wasn't ambitious enough to try my hand at coloring the cake batter, but I did use the sprinkle idea, and they turned out so cute!

The cake batter in the pictures reminds me of Willie Wonka. :)

There is a bakery in NYC that sells these as tye-dyed cupcakes for a TON of money - and you guys pulled it off beautifully! Good Job!
