Is this silly blog of hers that she began in such haste almost three years ago a food blog? Why yes, she blogs food:
A craft blog? Yes, Saucy crafts. A reader emailed Saucy this week and left big props "to you and your crafty self" and really, no words can describe Saucy's inflated ego after reading that.
If this is a photography blog, then the photo shoots are too sparse and Saucy admits that she and her new camera are over the blush of the first contact and with the honeymoon firmly over, she has some work to do on the relationship. Please be patient.
Saucy has almost given up on this being a scrapbooking blog. There are just too many contenders out there. And the whole cupcake movie review thing is a good gig but she really just picks and chooses the movies she sees, so Saucy realizes she's no Gene Siskel. Or Roger Ebert. The one that's still alive, you know what she means.
Is it a humour blog? The question is, how funny does one have to be in order to be categorized as a humour blog? Ridiculously funny? Moderately funny? Saucy thinks pretty funny, and she's not that funny. Funny looking, but that's a different kind of blog all together. There have been funny posts, yes. But not consistently funny.
And the whole mommy-blog phenomenon? Saucy is worried that Oprah and Dooce have pretty much ruined that possibility for the rest of us.
It had the potential to be a travel or shopping blog but in reality, when Saucy returns from her fabulous locales with Veto, she's often too tired to post about it, and immediate reminiscing holds no allure.
Dare she mention her one ill-fated political post? The only triple-digit comment generator, perhaps Saucy cut her career as rabble-rouser too short.
It would seem, Dear Reader, that as her third blogiversary approaches, Saucy finds herself at a blogging crossroads. Perhaps it is time to narrow the focus of her bloggedy-blog. Or at the very least, plan some sort of really...
What would you say to that?
