I decorated my home office for Christmas. Buddy Budderson helped me re-assemble the wedding tree and it doesn't look half bad. It doesn't look nearly as sweet as it did, but it is upright and I guess I will just have to start collecting again. The office is decorated with red birds and berries. These are the remnants of a tree that The Fan put together for The Festival of Trees a few years back... we always make too many ornaments. Who, us?

Under the tree sits a sweet nest and some boughs around Veto's grandparents photograph.

Do you see what I mean? Too many berries. I'm not sure how I feel about this arrangement on my tickle trunk. It looks better in person.
So: three trees are up in the house. How sure am I that Veto doesn't read this blog regularly? I am not expecting the phone to ring when I post... only three more to go.

Very pretty. The tree I brought to Seattle with us is pathetic. I need to find a Dollaramma fast!
Oh Saucy.....I just read about your tree oopsie! I'm with Loopy and glad nobbody was hurt! I love the idea of a wedding tree! I will begin right away! (with a small one to start!) Your toggle post is amazing as well...you never miss a single detail!

Sassy
WOW, you put up 6 trees?? Hmmm, maybe my hubby won't freak out when I tell him I want to put up two!
Yes, Sassy let's get started on that! I got some lime green ornaments at Superstore for one of my trees, so check there! Lime is hot this year for Christmas. What else do we need? Have you ever seen that fantastic faux popcorn garland? It is awesome.
If you start with a small tree, it will fill up nicely. Just before the crash Loopy and I decided to graduate the wedding theme to a big tree next year. I think the oopsie bought us a couple more years on a small tree.
Get your small tree at Early's! They are the best for the size and price before the holidays.
OK, you are even giving me a little Christmas spirit.
Your jars look pretty! Great minds must think alike, because I had already planned on filling one of my jars with tiny parcels, and then you commented about the ones for sale at Pier 1...thanks for the tip.
Guess What.....I started putting up the little one in my little girls room...and it tipped over and broke about 11 ornaments...I am so mad! I thought of you! Glad yours is ok...that little tree looks so bare now it is sad! I won't have time to grab new ornaments to fill in for a few weeks here so oh well...haha! Thats my positive attitude for ya!
Beautiful decor! I love it all! How many trees do you do? I do 7. Care to join mentalist me in the looney bin? LOL!
SIX trees? I'd never get away with that. I don't even have 6 different rooms to put them in :)
I am planning on six this year. Front foyer, back hallway, main tree in living room, dining room, office and daughter's room. Three are up already. Toying also with the idea of one in the den because it would be the only one to sit in front of a window and that would look so pretty from the street at night! I have toooo many collections.
Six trees total? Oh, my!
How fun!
I'm loving your sumptuous blog decor and that red tree! Awesome holiday spirit, Girl!
I love the berries!!
I am down to three decorated trees this year. I need to get my behind in gear so they are done before the weekend. And? I'm stealing that idea with the glass containers and pine cones...so cute!
I was sitting here wondering why you had all your trees up before Thanksgiving and then I remembered...you guys already had Thanksgiving. Takes me a while to catch on but I get there eventually.
It's beautiful! I'm always so amazed by you people who can put up several trees and they're all GORGEOUS! I have a hard enough time doing ONE tree! LOL
Glad you got the wedding tree back up!
Happy Thanksgiving

Oh I love all your pretty trees--and especially the bird one. I'm a nut for red berries and pinecones so it's safe to say I covet those decorations you have made.
You are a girl after my own heart. LOVE having lots of Christmas trees! We need to start a Christmas tree club. You can be our fearless leader! Too much of one thing, of course not! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Do you want to give a guided tour of our home at Christmas? No, I don't necessarily mean a virtual one (although I would love that, too).
For me, the thought of decorating one tree and the entire house this year is completely overwhelming and exhausting to me (must be the 'condition' I wrote to you about).
Your decorations are beautiful, though, as is your taste- as always!

Your Veto is quite the man indeed. I have to fight my Grinchy husband to allow ONE tree at Christmas.
I love the red!! So beautiful and festive. You have such wonderful taste. Love it. Can't wait to see all your other holiday goodies.
please see my blog. YOU HAVE RECEIVED A BLOG AWARD!!!!!
Yay!!!!! :)

Not to laugh but I did when I read your post ONLY because it brought back memories of when my son was a baby/toddler/preschooler and he couldn't keep his hands off the ornaments and broke ooooo so many. Precious little memory now but at the time I was always glad he didn't pull the tree down on him.
I'm inspired by all your trees though! WOW, you must have a ton of storage space.... I covet your storage space!
Have a great day!
There is no such thing as too much, especially when you make it all look so beautiful!
they all look wonderful...dont'you hate how they look less fabulous in a camera than they do in person?
thanks for the visit...so happy to meet a fellow canadian! Sask eh? is it cold there? do you have snow? we have nothing here...lots of wind in Red Deer...I am an Alberta girl...a very tired girl...as you can probably tell by my comment!
What is a "tickle trunk"? I've never heard that before.

Very gorgeous red! Three trees up? Whew, thats alot. It's hard enough for us to get our one up. That definitely is alot of berries but I think it looks pretty.
