Welcome to our first swap! Loopy and I are hosting a "Zombie Jar Swap" between now and Halloween. Sort of like a fairy jar, this swap involves capturing something (or someone) a little more frightening and ghoulish in some crafty container and then sending it off to your swap partner. It doesn't have to be a zombie... it can be a ghostie, a gremlin, a monster... you get the drift. But it should be "Halloweenie" and maybe a little vintage! Everyone loves vintage.

Everybody got that? October 25... it needs to be in your partner's hands by then so they can enjoy it for Halloween week. If you make it into the swap, I will email you with the information including your partner's shipping info and their blog address so you can get to know each other and make the perfect Zombie Jar for them. I will also send a copy of the sidebar button for you to display on your blog and info on how to login to the club blog and flickr account.
Oh, and Elton John? I'm going to post about that later tonight... I need some time to reflect on it because it was a wonderful, emotional experience. I have a little story to share that will surely bring a tear to your eye.

What if I am not a crafty person at all but would really like to do it? I wouldn't want to curse anybody with my non-craftiness product.
Just dropping by to say "hallo"!!! Nope, not interested in the swap as halloween isn't my favorite holiday, but I do have a question, my sweet saucy chick...... Who is Miss Loopy really????? ;-)
Smoochies,
Connie

Eeeek...a swap. Definitely count me in. You already have my info. And it doesn't have to be just within Canada.
Hello! I want to play along...I'm a little afraid of Halloween ghouls but I will try to make something scary and wicked...it'll be trapped in a jar, afterall. What harm can it do?
I live in Virginia. I will swap with anyone, whether they live in the U.S. or not.

I'm just curious.... is this any craft medium ie: clay, paper, felt?? Or is it a paper or altered art character (ghoul, ghost, monster) in a jar?
I'd love to see a link of an example if possible?? This sounds wicked fun!!!
Thanks
I'm in too! I can't wait to see how goulish this one turns out! Thanks for hosting!
Sara
