The beautiful tiara Loopy is wearing? Saucy's father, The Secret Weapon made that for her years ago. It is one of his sought-after handmade pieces... you can't imagine the trouble he went to, tracking down those crystals. The time to craft such a treasure! Loopy adored wearing it.
Oh, and they did take a little inspiration from the Halloween season... pirate hats are pretty easy to find right now! Here is another inspiration photo from Vera Wang Princess.

The chandelier in the tree? Genius. But poor Saucy was unable to replicate it. Maybe some other time.
Yes friends Saucy is going to attempt to twist herself one of those nifty tiaras just like the artist Mary Buck. She knows just where to go to track down some gold wire and raw crystals, next time she and Loopy take a road trip to Calgary.
Another photo shoot for the history books. We are having more and more fun with this... the creative juices are bubbling and Loopy gets more comfortable in front of the camera every time.
Guess what? Saucy found a ratty old vintage wedding gown for twenty dollars at Goodwill. Even in its tattered state, it will make a wonderful piece for a photo shoot. She's thinking to let Loopy's roots get a little dark and go for a fairly edgy look... not pretty edgy, edgy pretty. What do you think?

I always love the photo shoot replicas that you do with Loopy but I hardly ever comment. These were awesome!! I think I just love this look. She looks beautiful! That tiara is GORGEOUS!! What a wonderful gift.
I have a question for you, do you have all of these accessories laying around? I mean you matched the heart necklaces down to the rings...!or do you look at the original picture and go out and try to find something similar at the stores?

Well we try to match accessories as close as we can. Sometimes when we flip through magazines we notice something we can attempt because we already have what we need... the Vera Wang idea was mostly because that's the perfume Loopy loves best. The rings are actually from the cap of the bottle! That's what started the ball rolling... I had the tiara already and the only thing I searched out was that heart necklace. It wasn't too hard to find one for just a few dollars! The pirate hat was an easy find because of Halloween coming up and everything else just fell into place!
PS. We are accessory junkies, however. We lurrve the 10 for 10 table at Claires.

I found a few lookalike pieces but that was the closest one (in my budget) and it was from a shoe/accessory store here in Canada called ALDO. It was about twelve dollars as I recall.
I had a harder time locating something that looked like the interlocking heart chain Camille wore... I'm sure I will find something when I am least expecting it and now that the project is over!
Don't you just love the crowns they wear by Mary Buck? Have you visited the websites? Yikes!
In a bizarre twist of fate, the official Vera Wang Princess model is none other than Camille Belle. She is now (as of November) dating one Joe Jonas, Loopy's true lurrve. If we had only known. He dumped Taylor Swift for Camille who starred in the Lovebug video. I wonder what would happen if he ever laid eyes upon Loopy?
The first and the second ones are beyond pretty, I would much rather be looking at you than Camilla Belle
