paris of the prairies

I live in the prettiest city around. Saskatoon is often called the "Paris of the Prairies"... and as corny as that may sound, it's true. Just have a gander of these photos from some of my flickr friends...

Local readers will no doubt recognize some of these landmarks... how many can you identify?

I have tried to link these photos to the talented flickr photographers who took them, just click on the picture to see the photostream.

Beautiful pictures! My favorite is the Geese. Man they run a tight ship in your town! LOL!

That last photo is phenomenal. You should get paid for promoting tourism to Saskatoon. I have never been there and may just have to drop in sometime. I also like the move-along-little-duckies photo. CUTE!

Happy Sunday! Thanks for the photo post.

I particularly like the snowy ones. Reminds me of Sweden.

It is a lovely city. I've been telling anybody who will listen that I want to go there. Much prettier than Medicine Hat.

Okay, NOW I want to include THERE in future vacation plans. Why would one ever leave such a pretty city?

We are pretty lucky to live here, even if we are up to our knees in snow for 6 months! Thanks for putting this all together. I think my daughters and I should go for a walk around the city. Thanks Saucy!
