One of the more popular assignments that I gave when I taught high school art was to "replicate" a photograph from a magazine layout or advertisement. The students really enjoyed using each other as models and I loved seeing their interpretations of famous photos. This weekend Loopy and I did the same thing, using Sarah Jessica Parker's ad for Lovely perfume as our inspiration.

I love your mother/daughter project. You both must have a ton of fun doing it. Beautiful images.
great photos!!!
love your blog
Too funny, I just finished watching "Footloose" and here are your photos!! SJP looks really young in that movie. I love # 9, 12, 15 of Loopy. She is stunning. That dress sure is working out well for a lot of things!! Great job again Saucy! It reminds me that I really should be taking more shots of my girls!
Lucky Loopy! She (& your grandkids?!) will have a wonderful portfolio to look back on when she's older!
These pictures are STUNNING!
I think Loopy is much better than SJP! She's very lovely. She's really going to be going places!
Loopy IS prettier than SJP!
They are both gorgeous--but I also lean towards Loopy for the prize:)
Loopy looks absolutely beautiful and your photographs are exquisite. What a glorious time the two of you are having.
She looks STUNNING in these shots!! What fun you 2 are having!! So you actually look these outside infront of a black backdrop?
Very fun art project! I love that The Fan's prom dress gets so much air time at your house!!! :)
I am at all once agog! Simply lovely.
Loopy, you are incredibly beautiful - your Mom brings that out in you.

How gorgeous! What an amazing portfolio Loopy is building, and what great memories with her mom.
You've inspired me to buy a magazine ( I never buy magazines)and try this with one of my kids. Loopy is gorgeous and you did a great job with the photos.
Loopy is beautiful! Love that dress. The one with the back and the feet is absolutely lovely. I adore the fun b&w's.
Awesome job on these remakes!
I love the relationship you have with Loopy. I hope as my girls get older we will have that same type of relationship.
Anyway, there were several times I had to go back and look at the photos again as I could not tell the difference between Loopy and SJP myself. Loopy looks more natural too.
You have some great photographs.
you two make a terrific team! I think my most favorite shot is the very first black and white ... but a bunch of the others come in a very close second! beautifully executed by you both. :)
Yes we are about wearing that prom dress out, forty years later. You all must be sick of it by now but we can't resist... it's too much fun to wear only once.
Yes! The black backdrop is simple black fabric draped over a frame behind her. A fence would work too, just clamp down the fabric so it won't blow away!
She's gorgeous (Loopy). What fun! I love that idea and love the results. You're so talented!
what a fun project!!!
She looks incredible!! That dress! And who did the hair?! Loopy is far prettier than SJP. SJP is pretty in an interesting way. Loopy is just straight up gorgeous!
My two favorites pictures : the one with her hands beside her face, and the first black and white photo where she's looking down. They're all wonderful though.
Everytime I try to take a picture of my older daughter she makes some wacky face! My younger daughter is a bit more subdued. Loopy has what seems to be a natural ability to relax and take direction in front of the camera. Especially considering her mom is behind it ; )
Those are magical , she is a lovely girl , she is lucky you take so many pictures of her.
Chris
That is such a fun assignment!!!!! She looks gorgeous!
What a beautiful girl Loopy is, and so lucky to have a Ma who can take such gorgeous shots of her!
Absolutely stunning! Yes, Loopy is much cuter than SJP. (but no one is cuter than Ferris Bueller!)
Just beautiful!!!
Loopy is way more lovely than SJP. I never understood the big attraction for SJP...she's ok but she ain't all that!
Also, she gets all this credit for being such a "fashionista". She's not - her stylist dresses her on and off the show/movies.
Sheesh!
Loopy's got way more going for her!
Wonderful photographs by the way, just beautiful.

i adore the photo shoots and think i may need to convince my girls to model for me...soon.
