Today I had a few Saucy-tinis and sat and pondered in the hot hot sun... and then I retired indoors to watch The Rockford Files.
And a funny thought occurred to me...
Have you ever noticed dear reader...
...the eerie similarity between Dear Veto...
... and James Garner? Or is it just me? Have the Saucy-tinis gone to my head?
After all, he did take me to the Emmy Awards...
Hmmmm... I think I may be onto something. Some serious man candy.
Do you dig, dear reader, the corporate look?
I hate it when he reads over my shoulder! He smells good, though.
We take beach holidays together... me and Veto and Maverick.
Sideburns rock. Not every man can pull off a set, but Jim Rockford and Veto both can.
Hmmmm.... Veto with a beard. I'm not into it. At all.
Sometimes we get into such silly arguments. Is fish oil: oil made from fish or is it oil made for using on fish?Shake or don't shake the Polaroid? Let's not disagree James Veto. Come over here and give me a squeeze.
It may be a bit of a stretch but I can see it...I once told my mother I thought my hubby resembled JFK Jr. and she LAUGHED at me! She said, "He's cute, but he's no JFK Jr." Some people have no imagination.
I have to agree, I thisnk he DOES resemsble him you lucky lady. I am impressed most thought that you could find THAT mnay pictures of James Gardner...My husband actually resembles Nick Lachey and people will ask him about it all of the time.. his response "Yeah, If I were his fatter, older brother.." ;) Jen R
I bet Veto's Nice Mom has a photo of him in a cowboy hat. One time, Veto (a man of few words) said to me "I broke my nose once". "Oh, how did that happen?" I asked. "I was in a rodeo. Got bucked off!" Men.(If that was me - I would spin that story for a good half hour!)
Saucy would have the room on the floor with the wicked embellishments she would add! xoxo the fan once
What a lucky girl. I totally see the similarities - except Veto looks very happy in the photos with you in a way that our good buddy Jim doesn't show in his photos.
And I must say - I grew up watching Rockford and reruns of Maverick and have a long-standing crush on Mr. Garner. Like, I will even sit through repeated viewings of Space Cowboys. I like him that much.
It's like Veto's a mixture of James Garner, Vince Vaughn & Colin Firth...but only all the best parts. Whatever it is...I will say that James Garner and Veto are both devastatingly handsome men. You lucky gal, you! :)
Yes we did go to the Emmy awards, in 2004. It was AWESOME. We saw all sorts of celebrities and we walked the red carpet. At the after party I danced with the cast from "Saturday Night Live" and guess what? Seth Meyers told ME that I was FUNNY!
That is too funny. I wonder who I would find my husband to resemble after a couple of your Saucy-tini's. Hmmm...sounds like I have plans for Friday night. I'll need to make sure the kids have rides to their games Saturday morning;)
I spent many a younger day enjoying the re-runs of Jim Rockford.

Yes, I see the similarities. I think it's the expressions. What about Michael Keaton? That picture you posted really reminded me of Veto.
Yep! Very similar.

Yeppers! He's got a celebrity look-a-like!
Now if you can only get a shot of your Veto with a cowboy hat on, the photo parade would be complete!
Good morning Saucy :)
I think you're onto something! He does resemble him. I think Rich looks a little like a celebrity, but I won't say who ;)
I loved the question and answer post! I wish I had the skinny issue. I used to until I had Annie and she stole my body LOL
hugs,
rue
Now the real question is who do YOU look like?

I squinted my eyes and couldn't tell them apart! lol - what I like most is that it's pretty darn obvious that you adore your Rockford (aka: Vito).
I for sure see it in the nose/mouth area!
You're so funny! I think you're on to something though! I can sort of see it. lol
Did you really go to the Emmy's?
I took some time to think about it and I definitely agree there's a resemblance. What a good looking couple you make!
Hey, you're right! There is an uncanny resemblance. But your guy has that dimple... So cute!
Brenda

Well done! They could be twins! Or older/younger brother;)
Yeah, I'm feeling the similarites, but I'm also feeling a Colin Firth vibe...
Mr. Darcy??
Poor Veto. If his friends found out about this post, he'd be teased like crazy!
Did you really go to the Emmy's? :)
