movies and celebrities

Tonight the family saw Juno. Loved, loved, loved it. All of us loved it. What a brilliant show. If you loved Gilmore Girls or Napoleon Dynamite, see it. If you have a weimaraner, see it. If you like quirky, offbeat screenwriting that tells a great story that will have all members of your family misty-eyed at the end, after laughing for an hour and a half, see it. Do you like independant music and odd little ditties sung by nobodies? See it. See it... see it! Five out of five confections otherwise known as cupcakes!

.... and here is a fun time waster and confidence-killer. If you upload your photo to this website, it will generate your celebrity look-a-likes.

I was bummed out because the first time I did it my biggest match was Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls fame but the widget didn't work, so this is another match!

I so need to see Juno! I've heard nothing but good things about this little film :)

And I really do think you look like your celebrities.. I did it once and looked NOTHING like mine.

I am dying to see Juno. And five out of five...that's a lot of cupcakes.

You are hotter than all those chicks.

We never get out to the movies ~ that'll happen in about 6 years or so as a family event! Still, will look for it on Max! Thanks for the Juno tip!

You are braver than me in doing the celebrity photo thing. I am paranoid that my photo would result in comparisons with Bonzo (the chimp). I would be teased indefinately by my dh and/or sisters if they ever found out!

It was such a great movie! However, if I hadn't seen it and went by "If you loved Gilmore Girls or Napoleon Dynamite, see it" I'd totally have not been interested cause I didn't like that show or movie! I know, I'm weird :-)

Hi, I'm married to Jeff from Manitoba (works for your Ben, I believe you met him last week?). Stumbled across your blog (well ok maybe I hunted for it!) and spent the entire morning yesterday reading (much more interesting than work!) You are a terrific writer and have so many talents. Perhaps we'll meet in person someday, for now I just wanted to let you know I'd stopped by and stayed awhile!

Saucy, I find it totally amazing that neither Tea Leoni or Reese Witherspoon ended up on your 'lookalike' list - in my opinion, you are their prettier twin sister!

I just stumbled upon your blog from flickr...very entertaining. Can't wait to come back and stay a while.

So not trying the celebrity look-alike machine though. I'd be afraid Bea Arthur or Don Rickles would come up and I'd be in the fetal position under my chair for the rest of the week.
