exam day

This evening is my first exam for the second semester of Art History that I'm taking. I really do enjoy these classes very much... but I surely wish that it was warmer outside. The thought of trudging out after supper to go to a chilly examination room and write for three hours isn't very exciting.

But I must admit... and you'll keep this a secret, won't you? I sort of like writing exams. It's like a little game that I play with myself. I try to remember everything. I always secretly work to get the highest mark, if I can. Veto has a few nicknames for me, and one of them is "nerd."

So, I'm off... today I have to brush up on the art of Ancient Egypt, Greece, and the fascinating lost culture of the Etruscans. I know... he's right... nerd. Wish me luck!

Oh dear Saucy, I love you even though you have 2 out of 5 members of my family!

I'll be thinking of you as I spend my day trudging through the dreariness of bioethics. I'd much rather be learnings about Egypt, Greece & the Etruscans. Here's a secret...I'm a nerd too.

Good luck on the exam! You'll do great. And keep warm!

Sorry I really need to proofread my comments...that should be "hate" not "have" in the first sentence. It really just loses the whole context. I shake my head.

Best of luck with your exam--but I know you'll do well. I loved school and one of my secrets is that I also enjoyed the testing process. It wasn't a competition with others for me, it was more a competitive effort within myself.

Maybe I should think about getting my Ph.D. That would give me an excuse to go back to school. Or maybe a second Master's. I'll have to ponder this as you're making me miss the whole learning process.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do GREAT! I used to play a similar game with myself while I was getting my degree...I'd see how many days of class I could miss and still get the high score. LOL Such a silly little thing, but it made studying a lot more fun.

I just loved the academic process ~ perhaps the reason why I continue to write a research paper per lecture! All the nuances of a subject just intrigues me!

Hope everything went well on your exam.

I'm coming out of lurker land to confess that I just spent a few hours (yes Hours) going through your blog from top to bottom the other day and it was a great break from other stuff I was having trouble getting to. Thanks for providing the opp to procrastinate in the most enjoyable way.

Hope we get to swap in a future Club Little House exchange.

take care

OK, I am starting to worry my pretty little head about you, Saucy! With all the crafting potential of Valentine's Day fast approaching and your last post about going out into negative degree temperatures to take an exam .... well? what's a girl to think?

I hope that you (and your family) are ok and I am worrying for no reason at all! (Isn't it nice to know that your bloggers love you so much!?)
