does this magnet make me look fat?

This is actually my brain. My MRI from today... how amazing are these times in which we live. The results won't be in for a while... do you remember how I wished the machine could see how I was using my brain:
Just as I suspected. No matter. I returned home fairly early in the day and went straight to bed. I had a very long nap. The weather was so beautiful here today, when I got up I went for a little walk just to get some fresh air pumping through my lungs. At four o'clock I was napping again but the doorbell rang and this sweet bouquet of gerbera daisies arrived from MJ. How nice of her to be thinking of me today. Veto brought them to my bedside and I'm not sure if gerberas have a scent, but they did smell fresh and springy.

Now that all the medical business is out of the way... how about a Very Saucy Giveaway? Between today and January 31, all comments on this blog will be entered to win this:

I was busy putting together a Valentine's gift for my crafty cousin Kelly. I decided to make two. They are heart-shaped boxes filled with all sorts of goodies, including: vintage grosgrain ribbon, two spools of Martha Stewart baker's twine, vintage buttons, vintage pink tickets, Scrabble tiles spelling L-O-V-E, glass heart paperweights, vintage glitters, a Valentine's Day stamp, something fizzy for the bath, glass pearls, gingham "true love" ribbon, Necco heart candies, felt flowers, Heidi Swapp heart stickpins, pink and red fibres, and more!
You can comment every day to have a chance at winning a gift box just like Kelly's. How cute would this look on your craft room table for Valentines Day? One comment per day. I will draw a name randomly from all of the comments on January 31. I'll send it to you by post on February 1st. The more you comment, the more entries you get... see how this works?

I hope you are feeling better and that your MRI results come back boring as hell.

I don't even know MJ, but I adore any woman who sends her friend flowers. Consider yourself loved.

Glad you got the Gerbers! I wasn't sure of your flower preferences but thought the Gerbers would be bright enough for this time of year! I thought you needed some brightness after a day with the MRI.

Fun to see inside your head but I prefer the photoshopped brain the best! A red VW?

Cute Valentine box for Kelly! Count me in too! (Giveaways are such fun, not that I ever win them!)

I am falling out of my chair laughing, Saucy, at your illustration of the 'Inner Workings of Saucy's Brain'!

I think I may just create one of those for myself, hang it on my studio wall, and shoot an email photo of it to everyone who constantly asks me 'Whaddya' UP to?'

And, sweetie, we DO care - very much - that you have a blog! So, amend that thought in your brain....

Thanks for posting photos of your brain & the MRI. For some reason, we were talking about what brains looked like so we came and used the mouse pointer to look at yours! She didn't understand the humour in the "action" packed brain ~ go figure.

She was also quite mesmerized by your dollhouse.

I wonder which of your posts she'll want to look at tomorrow?

Yay! Yay! Count me in. I want me that heart! Too cute!

Those are gerberas? I just call them daisies! Very pretty ones too, might I add.

That's a pretty cool looking MRI. I've seen them in TV shows, but it's always much more interesting to see a real one of someone identifiable.

We're back looking at your brain again. K is quite fascinated with it. Kinda creepy that we're lurking here but maybe I've got a future doctor?

I think having this thinking is so rare, because I think you have a psychological problem because this is not common in a behavior.

It's interesting how something small as a brain can keep a lot of memories and procedures and also emotions, even in valentines day like we are capable to remember everything related with love, old loves, likes and dislikes, what hurt us in the past.
