Do you remember how seriously we take this day? Serious enough to use "most funnest" in a sentence. This year Loopy's updo was totally a swarm of monarch butterflies on the tiniest floral wire picks. They weaved and bobbed as she moved her head - it looked like a herd of butterflies was chasing her. Do butterflies travel in herds?
Wallace and Dexter were shipped off to their new homes today with Junie Moon and Diva Deb. The post office smelled like cupcakes by the time I was done there. It was mostly Wallace's fault. He just had to have "one more for the road".

Oh dear, I'm obviously out of touch with reality as I have not heard of Wacky Hair Day before. My only saving grace here is that I did know and indeed celebrated Talk Like A Pirate Day.
When is this day? I actually do have a wacky hat picture of me someplace.
Definately fun! I would imagine that Wacky Hair day may end in high school. Fear not, we'll recruit you in the event that K and/or N have to have their 'dos done too! LOL! Great creativity and lots of fun too!
Yes I fear that "Wacky Hair Day" is not oft-celebrated in high schools. Next year, then, will be our last.
Wacky Hair day rocks. Riley's Montessori school does it and he totally had fun with it last year! way to go Loopy! awesome hair! & beautiful butterflies. just don't go near a metal detector!
Loopy, You are sure to win this year! It's almost reminiscent of the days when women would put things like bird cages in their hair, or powder it white. So, so pretty. I also admire how the hair is arranged, very becoming.
Wallace and Dexter are sure to have a comfy ride as I well know Saucy has great packing skills :)

Loopy's hair is awesome! In my few years of teaching and few wacky hair days I have never ever seen something like this! WOW! First prize!
I adore what you did to Loopy's hair! I think that is just so clever. I must learn how to do a thing like this so I can do it for our next spirit week. =D
