Mmmmm.... that new baby smell. He is as sweet as can be and there are more photos of him here. I haven't finished the special photoshop project that I'm doing with the pictures yet - a gift for the baby shower next weekend. I've got to keep that one under my hat, then I'll show it to you!

beautiful!your photography is really good. So many talents under YOUR belt! photographer, interior designer, scrapbook designer, masters of education, ultimate doll house designer, and my favourite...super cool baker. I love your food pics they are super awesome! I have officially returned the red letter S to you!
Wow, Saucy! Have you considered becoming a professional?
I would LOVE to have my 3 mnth old photographed by you, like this!
Angela
BTW, what kind of camera were you using?
*blush* you ladies are so complimentary!
Angela, I will tell you that baby photos require little equipment and lots of patience. Lots of black cloth (cheap) and a natural light source like a window (easy) -the bigger the window the better. I had the advantage of one soft flood light set up (sounds fancy but it isn't, you can get the bulb setup at a photo store and rig it up to point the right direction to "fill" in the spots that need more light by using hardware clamps. Then I took over 180 shots on my Canon Powershot S5(nothing fancy)and spent lots of time editing them. There weren't too many that I could really, really use because this baby was very squirmy!
Angela, trust me, it's all in the cropping and the editing. It really is.
Dear Saucy,
You have the eye dear!
Cropping is good but you have to have the "eye"!
I love your banner too.

What gorgeous photos! They are so precious and the new mom and dad will treasure them forever.
Great photos! I love hands/feet shots!! I didn't get this done for K as a newborn & really regret it but managed to get some newborn photos of N when she was 3 weeks old (plus K with N too!)
All of the photos are great. It would be very hard to pick. Love the little ones to look at. (have my fill here) Just Beautiful!
What a sweet little thing! Lovelovelove that last pict of mum and babe together!
Oh wow I love these pictures - you rock at taking them! Makes me want to have another baby just for the pictures (and I also love the night feedings - ha)
Thanks for sharing!
You do have a great eye and talent. Not everybody can pick up a camera and produce that level of work.
